The RNase Inhibitor (Ribonuclease Inhibitor) possesses inhibitory properties against eukaryotic RNase and is ideal for use in Reverse Transcription.
This 50 kDa recombinant protein has a broad spectrum of RNase inhibitory properties for RNase A/B/C and human placental RNase. It exerts its inhibitory effect by noncovalent binding to RNases in a 1:1 ratio. The RNase Inhibitor was purified from human placenta through a combination of ion exchange and affinity chromatography. It is suitable for all applications with RNA, especially for reverse transcription of RNA into cDNA when eukaryotic RNase contamination occurs.
