These Imaging Chambers are designed for high resolution live cell microscopy techniques. With microscope slides as the bottom structure, the chambers can be used with long distance objectives. They are suitable for in-situ hybridization technologies as well as for a wide range of fixation and staining protocols.
The chamber bodies and lids are made of a high performance, acetone-resistant polymer that can withstand temperatures up to 90°C. Cell adhesion, spreading and distribution on top of the glass bottom is improved due to proprietary plasma surface modifications. The chambers are sealed against the glass bottom by a biological inert silicone adhesive. At the end of the experiment, the glass can be detached from the polymer chambers with minimal glue residue.
