This kit includes ViroMag Reagent, ViroMag R/L Reagent, AdenoMag Reagent and the 96-Magnet Magnetic Plate.

The three reagents use Magnetofection technology to allow the concentration of the complete applied doses of viral particles onto cells within minutes. They each were designed for specific purposes.

  • ViroMag is a magnetic nanoparticles formulation designed to increase virus infection and transduction capacities. It is suitable for all viruses. 
  • ViroMag R/L is a magnetic nanoparticles formulation optimized for Retroviruses and Lentiviruses.
  • AdenoMag Transfection Reagent is a magnetic nanoparticles formulation specifically designed for enhancing Adenovirus and Adeno Associated Virus (AAV) infection and transduction capacities.
  • The 96-Magnet Magnetic Plate has optimized characteristics for Magnetofection and can be used with all reagents in this kit. It has 96 wells and measures 8 x 12 cm.
