Description
The Single Cell Whole Genome Amplification Kit is designed for efficient analysis of single cells with one lysis step and one amplification step in whole genome amplification. It is an improved version of the One Step WGA Kit.
The Single Cell Whole Genome Amplification (WGA) Kit contains everything that is necessary for amplification of human genomic DNA from single cells or low copy templates. Amplification is based on a multiple displacement reaction in combination with specially designed degenerated primers optimized for human genomic DNA. The kit covers about 60% of the human genome. In combination with other available WGA kits, a coverage of 80% can be achieved. The included SD Polymerase is able replace former strands during the synthesis of the new strand. Due to its the temperature stability up to 92°C, the two common reaction steps within a whole genome amplification assay do not require additional handling time. This minimizes the risk of contamination and handling errors.
Each kit contains a 2.5x MM (Master Mix without enzyme), 10 U/µl SD Polymerase, optimized lysis buffer, and PCR grade water.
