EcoTransfect Transfection Reagent is an economical Lipofection reagent designed for the transfection of popular cell lines for everyday experiments.
EcoTransfect uses TEE Technology (Triggered Endosomal Escape), a mechanism that combines and exploits the properties of cationic lipids and polymers to achieve extremely efficient DNA delivery into cells. This reagent is the perfect solution to quickly analyze the biological activity of nucleic acids, to perform routine transfection assays at low cost, and to accomplish high throughput screening.
Figure 1: DNA transfection in common cell lines. Cells (5 to 7.5 x104 cells / well) were transfected with 1µg/well of pEGFP plasmid and 2 µl of EcoTransfect in 24-well plates. EGFP expression was monitored 24 h after transfection by fluorescence microscopy.
Figure 2: Efficiency and Cost per transfection. Different cell lines (7.5x104 cells / well) were transfected with 1 µg/well of plasmid DNA (pEGFP) and 2 µl of EcoTransfect in 24-well plates. The others transfection reagents were assayed according to the manufacturer's instructions. GFP expression was monitored 24-48 h after transfection by FACS.
