Description
- Immunogen: KLH-conjugated peptide derived from C-terminal sequence of Lhcx protein from Phaeodactylum tricornutum. 14 (Lhcx1, Lhcx3), 13 (Lhcx2), and 12 (Lhcx4) out of 15 amino acids long peptide used to elicit this antibody is contained specifically in the C-terminus of the respective Lhcx proteins in P. tricornutum

- Expected | apparent MW: Lhcx1: 21.95 | 16 kDa, Lhcx2: 24.73 | 22 kDa, Lhcx3: 22.24 | 17-18 kDa, Lhc4: 22.86 | 17-18 kDa. However, based on other marker and gel systems, Lhcx1 and Lhcx3/4 may also appear at 18 and 19-20 kDa.

- P. tricornutum contains only four Lhcx proteins, which are are structurally similar, but are differentially expressed under varying environmental conditions.
