Description
This off-the-shelf, ready-to-use chicken and pig genome-wide sgRNA library is designed for unbiased phenotypic knockout and dropout viability screens. The CRISPR Knockout Library targets all ~17,000 chicken protein-coding genes and all ~22,000 pig protein-coding genes with approximately 4 sg/RNAs per gene. To improve knockout efficiency, the guides are engineered with optimized sgRNA configurations and enhanced Cas9 interactions using the “HEAT/HECG” design.
The 86K library incorporates 4 sgRNAs per gene. Both libraries include 1000 non-targeting and 100 intron-targeting controls. The design has been proven to generate more robust screening results.
Available formats include 200 ug plasmid and pre-packaged viral libraries at 2 x 10^8 TU and 1 x 10^9 TU.
