Description
The EpiMelt Bisulfite Modification Standard Kit was specifically designed for optimized performance for use with the EpiMelt Methylation Detection Assays. The kit includes a set of reagents for bisulfite conversion and purification of converted DNA that has been designed to minimize template degradation and loss of DNA during treatment and clean-up as well as to provide a high rate of conversion of unmethylated cytosines.The user-friendly protocol includes on-column sulphonation. This is a streamlined, proven procedure for bisulfite modification of DNA. The recovered DNA is ideal for downstream analyses including PCR, qPCR followed by melting analysis (MS-HRM, qMSP), sequencing, microarray analyses, etc.
You can achieve highly efficient bisulfite conversion and purification of as little as 500pg up to 2ug of DNA. Converted and purified DNA is suited for direct use in downstream methylation analyses.
