Description
With the COVID-19 pandemic underway, a novel epitope/peptide expression platform, EpitoGen Technology, has been developed to produce a set of unique, highly sensitive COVID-19 ELISA tests.
EpitoGen Technology efficiently expresses short epitopes to vastly improve antibody tests. The epitope antigen (EpitoGen) is fused in the middle of an inert scaffold protein and displayed on the top of the scaffold ideally suited for a number of antigen/antibody-based assays such as ELISA and lateral flow.
The EpitoGen Spike Mutant COVID-19 ELISA test is designed for evaluating the impact of emerging mutants on vaccine performance and acquired immunity. The test contains two antigens to detect antibodies specific to original COVID-19 strains and several prevalent variants. Antigen 1 is a composite set of 5 immunodominant epitopes from the original spike protein. Antigen 2 is a set of composite mutant epitopes from the most common COVID-19 variants (16 prevalent mutations).
This EpitoGen Test includes the IgG ELISA plate and dilution buffer. Other materials are to be supplied by the user.
