Gelacell™ PLGA scaffold inserts for well plates
Gelacell™ HaloSpun PLGA (poly lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanofiber scaffold inserts are designed to fit standard 6, 12, or 24 well plates. These inserts allow you to experience the benefits of Gelacell™ scaffolds while using your own equipment, making it easy to transition from 2D to 3D cell culture.
Gelacell™ scaffolds are specifically designed to optimize 3D cell culture and encourage cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation.
Gelacell™ scaffolds are made using novel, patented HaloSpinning technology to closely mimic the natural extracellular matrix. These scaffolds offer the perfect combination of flexible hydrogels and hard, structured scaffolds.
Halospinning creates highly porous scaffolds with a high surface area to volume ratio, which facilitates nutrient delivery, offers ample surfaces for cell proliferation, and prevents cellular waste buildup.
