Modified version of Taq DNA Polymerase with high robustness against inhibitors for PCR and pathogen detection.
HighTaq DNA Polymerase is a novel genetically engineered version of Taq DNA Polymerase. Due to special additives, HighTaq is highly robust against inhibitors, including bio-molecules such as polysaccharides, fats and proteins.
This polymerase replicates DNA at 72°C and catalyzes the polymerization of nucleotides into duplex DNA in 5'-3' direction. It possesses a 5'-3' exonuclease activity.
HighTaq is suitable for common PCR applications and pathogen detection. It is especially useful when high robustness and product yield is needed.
Multiple formats are available. The high concentration format is recommended for lyophilization.
