BriClone is an additive for the cloning medium used in the post-fusion stages of hybridoma production. Produced at the state-of-the-art facility at the National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology (NICB), BriClone greatly increases efficiency in hybridoma cell cloning. Experts at the NICB developed BriClone specifically to avoid the disadvantages of using feeder cells, such as batch-to-batch variation and depletion of nutrients by feeder cells.
