Mycoplasma Removal Reagent is an antibiotic that exhibits toxicity towards a broad range of mycoplasma subspecies at a low concentration. It is designed for treating mycoplasma-contaminated cell cultures.
If untreated, mycoplasma contamination can lead to reduced cell growth and the loss of cell cultures. This reagent efficiently removes mycoplasma by interfering with the DNA replication machinery.
