Magnetofection Starter Kits are a great introduction to Magnetofection Technology, also known as magnetic transfection. Each kit contains a magnetic plate as well as one or more Magnetofection reagents: PolyMag for use with plasmid DNA, RNA and ODNs; CombiMag to enhance standard lipid based transfection reagents; ViroMag for use with viral DNA; NeuroMag for transfecting neural cells; and SilenceMag for use with siRNA. Two magnetic plates are available, one specifically designed for 96-well plates and another that can be used with all tissue culture vessels.
