This kit includes PolyMag reagent, PolyMag Neo reagent, CombiMag reagent, and a 96-Magnet Magnetic Plate for use in Magnetofection transfection.
With this kit, you can compare transfection efficiency of PolyMag, PolyMag Neo, and CombiMag combined with your current transfection reagent. Once you have decided on the best strategy for your transfection experiments, you can order the reagent of choice and continue to use the magnetic plate.
- PolyMag Reagent is composed of magnetic nanoparticles coated with cationic molecules. This reagent has been optimized for use with all types of nucleic acids and has been successfully tested on a large range of primary cells and hard-to-transfect cells.
- PolyMag Neo Reagent is an optimized formulation of PolyMag for a higher gene expression level in primary cells and hard-to transfect cells.
- CombiMag Reagent is designed to be employed in association with any commercial transfection reagent and can be used with all types of nucleic acids. CombiMag is ideal for use with primary cells and hard-to-transfect cells.
- The 96-Magnet Magnetic Plate has optimized characteristics for Magnetofection and can be used with all reagents in this kit. It measures 8 x 12 cm.
