The portein displayes disulfide reductase activity that is involved in the biogenesis of the plastid cytochrome b6f complex. Protein is located in the thylakoid membrane with the C-terminal hydrophilic portion, containing the thioredoxin like domain, extending into the thylakoid lumen.
