Description
The AutoXT PGS DNA/RNA Extraction Kit is designed for use with the Miracle-AutoXT Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction System for DNA/RNA purification from pathogens.
This kit functions by magnetic bead-based purification. Nucleic acids are easily bound to the surface of the magnetic beads and are released using a proprietary buffer system. The purified viral DNA/RNA is suitable for use in downstream applications such as PCR, real-time PCR, and RT-PCR.
All reagents required for processing samples are included. The kit uses prefilled cartridges or well plates for purification, maximizing simplicity and convenience and preventing cross-contamination.
The AutoXT PGS DNA/RNA Kit can be used with bacteria and viruses from fresh or frozen blood, serum, other cell-free body fluids, virus cultures, cultivated cells, tissue homogenate and stool swab homogenate.
In combination with the Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction System, up to 32 samples can be processed in under an hour.
