Description
Please note: control vectors can only be purchased in combination with a regular B. subtilis vector.
The Bacillus subtilis expression system was developed as a host for gram-positive bacteria in a variety of applications, including agricultural, medical and food biotechnology and the production of recombinant proteins. This system is advantageous in that it is non-pathogenic, does not have significant bias in codon usage, and is capable of secreting functional extracellular proteins directly into the culture medium.

- pHT01-bgaB (PBS001C) - for intracellular production of β-galactosidase after addition of IPTG
- pHT43-amyQ (PBS002C) - for intracellular production of α-amylase after addition of IPTG
- pHT10-gfp+ (PBS005C) - for expression and secretion of gfp+ after addition of IPTG
