Description
These incredibly versatile 1ml columns are an indispensable addition to every lab. They are compatible with sample sizes from small volumes to large volumes and can handle small or large wash buffer volumes as well. Mobicols can be used to make your own spin/affinity columns with the matrix of your choice. A variety of accessories are offered to customize Mobicols to your specific needs.
The M1002 Mobicol "Classic" is supplied with two screw caps (Luer-lock cap and screw cap) and a plug for the outlet. Small and large filters with different diameters and pore sizes (10 µm, 35 µm and 90 µm) are separately available. With these features, the Mobicol "Classic" can be used for a wide range of applications as both mini columns and spin columns. M1002 can be used for Affinity Chromatography with inserted filters. Insertion tools are included with each pack of M1002 Mobicols as well.
- Mini Column - As Mini Columns, a syringe can be connected to the top of the Mobicol as a reservoir for sample or buffer application using the Luer-lock adapter. To enable a connection to larger reservoirs, a Luer-adapter is available to attach tubing to the top cap.
- Spin Column - As Spin Columns, Mobicols are placed in a 1.5ml or 2ml microtube and can be centrifuged in a microcentrifuge.
