Stabilizers

Immunoassay stabilizers are required for preserving the native conformation of proteins and to protect them from losing their functionality. Our range of stabilizers allow long-term storage of antibodies, conjugates (HRP-labeled or AP-labeled) and antigens in solutions or coated onto surfaces. 

These Stabilizers preserve the structure and functional activity of antibodies, proteins, antigens, enzyme conjugates, and coated assay components during storage. Effective stabilization can improve assay consistency, extend reagent shelf life, and support efficient production of research and commercial immunoassays.

Choose the stabilizer based on the assay component you need to protect:

• Antibody Stabilizer –  for long-term refrigerated storage of antibodies and proteins at 2–8°C, helping avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Available in PBS- and TRIS-based formulations.
• HRP-Protector™ - diluent for long-term storage of HRP conjugates.
• Liquid Plate Sealer® - for long-term stabilization of antibodies and antigens immobilized on polystyrene or glass surfaces, including coated ELISA plates, lateral flow test strips, and protein arrays.
• AP-Protector®  and AP Defender - for stabilization of alkaline phosphatase conjugates.
• LowCross® HRP-Stab – Multifunctional reagent: diluent for long-term storage of HRP conjugates and optimizer for minimizing nonspecific binding.
