Magnetic beads can be used as solid support phase in DNA/RNA extraction and purification protocols by a simple bind/wash/elute principle. MagSi-DNA beads are intended for the user's own development of protocols and are suitable for various sample sources and buffer systems. The following sizes are available, each with both silica surfaces and carboxylated surfaces:
- MagSi-DNA mf Beads, 300nm bead size - fast suspension time, large surface area; compatible with microfluidic systems
- MagSi-DNA Beads, 600nm bead size - long suspension time, large surface area
- MagSi-DNA Allround Beads, 1.2µm bead size - fast separation and medium suspension time
- MagSi-DNA Beads, 3µm bead size - very fast separation and short suspension time
