Description
Constitutive or inducible lentiviral vector designed with different selection and fluorescent markers for cloning and expression of shRNA.
These include:
- Lentiviral shRNA Vectors
- Retroviral shRNA Vectors
- Inducible shRNA Vectors (U6Tet)
Available formats include constitutive U6-driven and tetracycline-inducible U6Tet-driven sgRNA expression vectors. Constructs are offered with UbiC, CMV, or EF1 expression cassettes and are available with GFP, RFP, or puromycin selection options. Inducible vectors incorporate TetRep for doxycycline-regulated guide RNA expression.
All vectors are supplied as linearized cloning-ready constructs (500 ng), sufficient for 50 cloning reactions.
- Cloning of specific hairpin sequence in shRNA lentiviral expression vectors
- Most vectors include RFP or GFP to monitor transduction
- Inducible versions to demonstrate that the phenotype is linked to shRNA expression
- shRNA expression is reversible and does not alter genomic DNA
