Description
This off-the-shelf, ready-to-use pooled lentiviral human genome-wide shRNA library is usedto assay the effects of multiple constructs in one experiment. A unique feature is the incorporation of shRNA-specific barcodes to prevent the increased variability in the data due to the direct amplification and sequencing of hairpins. Therefore, it is easy to identify enriched or depleted shRNAs in screening readouts.All 3 modules target 6300 genes with 8shRNA per gene.
Module 1: Targets signal transduction genes and major pathways, genes from the Cancer Genome atlas, and approved drug products. Module 1 is great for targeted cancer research.
Module 2: Targets disease-associated genes and drug targets that are not in Module 1.
Module 3: Targets cell surface markers, extracellular matrix genes, and DNA binding genes.
Pooled Module 1, 2, and 3: Combines all 3 modules into a single larger library with a pool of ~ 160,000 constructs. The library targets nearly all ~19000 protein-coding genes.
Available formats include 200 ug plasmid and pre-packaged viral libraries at 2 x 10^8 TU and 1 x 10^9 TU; the pooled library is available in 600 ug plasmid.
