Gelacell™ Aligned PLLA scaffolds Affixed to Cell Crowns
This product includes Gelacell™ HaloSpun PLLA (poly-L-lactide) nanofiber scaffolds affixed to cell crowns for long term 3D cell culture. Cell crowns suspend the scaffold above the bottom of the well plate, making them ideal for long term 3D cell culture by enhancing nutrient diffusion. The cell crowns are offered in sizes designed to fit standard 6 and 12 well plates.
The aligned nanofibers promote uniform cell proliferation in a single direction, which is ideal for specialized applications such as the 3D culturing of neuronal cell lines.
