Description

These ready-to-use CSIRPR sgRNA Control Constructs target known genes, essential genes, or are validated not to target any geneThe control constructs come in various vector backbones. Multiple promoter options are available for optimal expression in different cells. 

  • sgCopGFP Control – sgRNA targets copGFP fluorescent protein in a standard lentiviral vector. Used as a negative control unless cells are engineered to express copGFP. Also available in a tet-inducible format.
  • Non-targeting sgRNA – Used as a negative control for CRISPR. Also available in a tet-inducible format.
  • Non-targeting Dual-sgRNA – Expresses two different, non-target sgRNAs. Used as a negative control for CRISPR.
  • Non-Targeting CRISPR Control with Cas9 – Used as a negative control for CRISPR. Delivered in a Cas9 CRISPR lentiviral vector.
  • sgOCT4 CRISPRa control (human) – Used as a positive control for CRISPRa.
  • gOCT4 Dual-sgRNA CRISPRa Control (human) –  Offers stronger promoter activation or fluorescence readouts in screens and assay development.

Available formats include CRISPR control constructs offered as either 25 µg plasmid DNA or pre-packaged lentiviral particles (1 × 10⁶ to 1 × 10⁷ TU). These include sgCopGFP targeting controls, non-targeting single- and dual-sgRNA controls, CRISPRa OCT4 activation controls, inducible Cas9 systems (rtTA/Dox-On, including Cas9-BFP variants), and matching target constructs. Constructs are delivered across vector configurations driven by CMV, EF1/EFS, UbiC, and Tet-responsive promoters, and incorporate selectable markers (Blast, Hygro, Neo, Puro, Bleo) and fluorescent reporters such as GFP and RFP variants.
